Today, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the Department of External Relations received the US Deputy Special Envoy to Syria Mr. David Brownstein, and his accompanying delegation.

He was received by Dr. Abdel Karim Omar, the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department, and the two deputies of the co-presidency, Mr. Fener Al-Keait, and Mrs. Abeer Elia.

During the meeting, the Syrian situation in general, the situation in northern and eastern Syria in particular, and the means for a political solution in Syria were discussed.

And also on the importance of the role of the international coalition in all political, economic, security, and humanitarian aspects in the region.
